Matt Hughes
Before Matt Hughes started fighting he was an electrician. He did some construction and even some farming. His successful career in UFC was surprisingly not planned.
A friend of Matt’s got him into the sport and he started doing some small shows around town. These small shows continued to get bigger and bigger. Matt’s athleticism has led him to hold the title UFC World Welterweight Champion, twice.
Among other titles, these titles show just how hard Matt is willing to work to win. When he was interviewed about his fighting he stated, “I’m a competitor, I’m 34 years old, and I still love to compete.”
Matt Hughes’ love for the sport is apparent when you watch him fight. Luckily, he is not going anywhere any time soon so we are able to enjoy him for at least another year.
