All About Dana White
Dana White is currently the president of the UFC (Ultimate Fighting Championship), which is an organization for MMA (Mixed Martial Arts). Dana White was born July 28,1969 in Manchester, Connecticut. White actually grew up in three different areas:Las Vegas, Nevada; Texas; and Levant, Maine; but he spent most of his growing up in Vegas and Levant.
As White got older, he enrolled in college in Boston, Massachusetts. Although, he never completed his schooling, he did have an attitude of entrepreneurship as he started a boxing group for children. Later on, White continued to show his entrepreneurship as he taught aerobics classes in various gyms after creating Dana White Enterprises in 1992. White also began training Tito Ortiz and Chuck Liddell, some fighters in MMA.
Semaphore Entertainment Group is the parent of the UFC Company. When White found out that they were selling the UFC, he found one of his old childhood friends, Lorenzo Fertitta, to help him out. Fertitta and his older brother bought the company, UFC, and White became the president. Talk about proactive entrepreneurial-like nature. White saw an opportunity and contacted the right person to make it happen. White is still currently the president.
