Michael Bisping claims he has worked on his defense a lot. His loss to Dan Henderson in July 2009 was a major setback for him, and has made him realize that he needs to improve his defense.
“I’ve been working a lot of my defense, obviously since the Dan Henderson fight,” he commented. “I had no choice. I got knocked out there, and I’m not in a rush for that to happen again. I’ve been working on my defense, and I’ve got no qualms standing with Wanderlei.”
I am not a big fan of Bisping, and I hope that Silva knocks him out. I loved seeing Bisping get knocked out by Henderson, it was a great night! I think the reason why I don’t like Bisping is the way he treated Matt Hamill on and off the show.

Randy Couture recently made a comment that he is more concerned about the fights, not a title shot.
“The titles have come, the titles have gone. All that’s great, it’s the icing on the cake, but if I spend a bunch of time worrying, focusing on those things, you get tight, I’m not having fun,” Couture stated. “I’m more worried about coveting those sorts of things instead of just doing what I love to do, which is compete.”
I agree with Couture, you can’t let yourself get caught up in who will get the next title shot. But at the same time, you know he is thinking about it. The whole point of fighting is to get a title shot, that is your goal and purpose of fighting.
I think Couture is great for the sport, and really grabs the attention of the older audience. If he can win a couple more fights, he deserves a title shot, and I hope Dana White will give it to him.
